Keys and Blue Rocks Washed Out

Doubleheader Scheduled for Saturday

WILMINGTON, DE-Due to rain, the Frederick Keys and the Wilmington Blue Rocks have been postponed. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Saturday starting at 4:30 p.m. Both games will be seven innings long.

 

Frederick's third twinbill in the last two weeks, the Keys most recent one came last Sunday in Kinston, with the orange and black taking both games. In eight completed twinbills this year, the Keys are 4-2-2.  

 

Left-hander Zac Lowther (3-2, 2.89) makes the game one start for Frederick and will be opposed by Wilmington left-hander Daniel Tillo. In game two, right-hander Cristian Alvarado (10-7, 4.08) starts against Blue Rocks right-hander Nolan Watson (5-1, 3.64). Both games can be heard on frederickkeys.com and the TuneIn App.

 

The Keys return to Nymeo Field on Friday, August 10 when the Buies Creek Astros come to town.
