FREDERICK, MD-For the second straight day the Frederick Keys and Lynchburg Hillcats have been postponed due to rain. Saturday's game which was rescheduled for today will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Wednesday, June 13 beginning at 5:00 p.m. Both games will be seven innings. Sunday's regularly scheduled game has been cancelled.
Fans with tickets to Sunday's game can redeem their tickets for any regular season game during the 2018 season based on availability. Ticket exchanges must be made by visiting the box office.
With the postponement, the Keys will play consecutive doubleheaders against the Hillcats on Tuesday, June 12 and 13. That same week, the orange and black will also play a pair of games against the Down East Wood Ducks on Friday, June 15 also beginning at 5 p.m.
Following a Monday off-day, the Keys will begin a six-game roadtrip on Tuesday with the team making stops in Potomac and Wilmington. The Keys and Nationals get underway at 7:05 from Pfitzner Stadium and the broadcast can be heard on frederickkeys.com and the TuneIn radio app.
The Keys return to Nymeo Field on Monday, June 11 when the Lynchburg Hillcats and Down East Wood Ducks come to town for the final first half homestand.
