Keys and Wood Ducks Rained Out

Doubleheader Scheduled for Sunday

KINSTON, NC-Saturday night's game between the Frederick Keys and the Down East Wood Ducks has been postponed due to rain. The two sides will play a doubleheader on Sunday afternoon starting at 1 p.m from Grainger Stadium. Both games will be seven innings.

 

Sunday will mark the Keys second doubleheader this week. In seven completed twinbills this season, Frederick is 3-2-2.  

 

Left-hander Zac Lowther (3-2, 3.04) makes the game one start for the Keys and will be opposed by Down East right-hander Rollie Lacy (0-0, --). In game two, right-hander Cristian Alvarado (10-7, 4.06) starts for Frederick against Wood Ducks right-hander Steven Bruce (4-6, 3.48). Both games can be heard on frederickkeys.com and the TuneIn App with pre-game coverage beginning at 12:45 p.m.
