Following confirmation of his promotion, Delewski was reached for comment in his home state of Ohio saying, "I'm very excited about this opportunity with [the Syracuse Chiefs] and I'm ready to get the 2015 season going."

On Delewski's appointment, Potomac Nationals Vice President/General Manager, Josh Olerud said, "Jeremy has been an important part of our successes in Potomac and I can't think of a more deserving guy to fill the clubhouse role with Syracuse. Jeremy will be missed here, but we couldn't be happier for him and his opportunity with the Chiefs."
