For the first time in the series, the P-Nats held Lynchburg scoreless over the first two innings. That run continued into the fourth frame when Teel surrendered a one-out double to LF
Potomac didn't have many scoring chances on the afternoon. 1B
After six innings from Teel, Klobosits worked two scoreless innings, while Bartow followed with a perfect ninth frame. Out of the bullpen for Lynchburg, Garza allowed three hits over three innings and closed out the Hillcats' sweep. Potomac got singles from Corredor and DH
With three consecutive losses at home, the P-Nats will head into Monday's off day in second place in the Northern Division, either 0.5 or 1.5 games behind the Salem Red Sox. Tuesday night, the Myrtle Beach Pelicans (Chicago Cubs) will make their first visit to Northwest Federal Field in 2019. The Pelicans will play at The Pfitz Tuesday night, Wednesday night, and Thursday night, and then again August 26th-29th.
