The RoughRiders scored first in the bottom of the 3rd to break a scoreless game on an RBI single from Justin Foscue, his third run scored in the series. Leading 1-0 into the bottom of the 5th, Frisco stretched their lead on an RBI double from left fielder Kellen Strahm to score Foscue and first baseman Blaine Crim.

Foscue led the offense with a 3-for-3 night at the plate and reached in all four at-bats following a walk in the bottom of the 7th.

Frisco forced left-handed starter Ben Krauth (0-2) out of the game with two aboard after 4.2 innings and responsible for two earned runs on seven hits.

Riders righty Matt Wivinis made his return to professional baseball with his first appearance out of the complex since September 2nd, 2019. Wivinis relieved Brennan with a clean top of the 7th inning, allowing no runs or hits.

Frisco relievers Grant Wolfram and Grant Anderson contributed the final two innings on the mound and combined with two strikeouts and no runs on two hits. Anderson notched his third save of the year, as he’s 3-for-3 in save opportunities in his last four outings.
