CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas (June 21, 2018) - The Frisco RoughRiders, the Double-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers, dropped Thursday's series opener 4-2 to the Corpus Christi Hooks at Whataburger Field.
BIG MOMENTS
* The Riders grabbed a 1-0 lead in the top of the fourth but Corpus Christi scored twice in both the fourth and sixth innings to go ahead for good.
* Luis Yander La O went 2-for-3 with an RBI single, recording his third multi-hit game in the last four contests.
* Riders pitching allowed 14 hits but stranded 10 baserunners to keep the game close.
