MIDLAND, Texas (June 8, 2019) - After a couple shaky starts, Tyler Phillips turned in six impressive frames Saturday night but the Riders fell short in a 3-1 loss to Midland.

SYNOPSIS
* Phillips allowed all three of his runs in the third. Outside of that inning, he allowed just two hits.
* Matt Bush made his 2019 debut with a perfect eighth inning.
* The Riders collected their only run on an RBI double from Michael De Leon in the seventh.

The Frisco RoughRiders are the Double-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers and play their games at beautiful Dr Pepper Ballpark in Frisco, Texas.
