Generals and Braves Postponed on Monday Afternoon

Games will be rescheduled for the Generals' series in Mississippi, August 7-11
July 22, 2013

JACKSON, TENN (JULY 22, 2013) - The scheduled doubleheader Monday between the Jackson Generals and Mississippi Braves at The Ballpark in Jackson has been postponed due to rain and unplayable field conditions. The start time for Monday's game one was pushed back twice, before the field was declared unplayable. The games will be made up when the Generals play a five-game series in Mississippi, August 7-11. The series at Trustmark Park in August is part of Jackson's 10-day road trip to Mobile and Mississippi. Dates and times are to be determined.

Any fan that had tickets to today's game may exchange their ticket for another game during the 2013 regular season.

The Generals will hit the road on Tuesday and begin a five-game road series at Chattanooga's AT&T Field, with first pitch on Tuesday against the Lookouts coming at 6:15 p.m. (CT).

The Lookouts are scheduled to start RHP Andres Santiago (3-8, 4.73) in game one of the series, while the Generals have not announced a starter.
