Generals Return Home Monday

Education Day, Thrifty Thursday, Food Trucks and Hippos in Jackson

Jackson, Tenn. - After the Generals wrap up their series in Mobile against the BayBears Sunday, the team will return home for a five-game series against the Montgomery Biscuits Monday. The fun includes an Education Day, a Thrifty Thursday, Food Truck Friday presented by Leaders Credit Union and game two for the Hub City Hippos!

The Generals and Biscuits face off in a rematch of last season's North Division Series, which Jackson won three games to win en route to a Southern League Championship. The first two games of the series Monday and Tuesday both start at 6:05 pm CT, with the fun promotions beginning on Wednesday. 

Wednesday, April 19 - Education Day - 11:05 am CT

  • More breakfast and baseball in Jackson! The Generals will play their second morning affair, getting underway against the Biscuits before noon on Wednesday. It's the second of five Education Days at The Ballpark, with schoolchildren who come with their class getting free admission and the chance to purchase lunch packs for just $6!

Thursday, April 20 - Thrifty Thursday - 6:05 pm CT

  • The best deal in Jackson is back at every Thursday home game in 2017! General admission tickets, hot dogs, popcorn, 16-oz. beer, 24-oz. Pepsi products, ice cream and fun zone access are all just $2! Fans can get reserved seats for only $6 on Thursdays as well!

Friday, April 21 - Food Truck Friday/Hub City Hippos - 6:05 pm CT

  • Fridays are all new in 2017! Fans will have a bevy of options in addition to the concession stands, as a number of local food trucks will be parked in the fun zone at every Friday game thanks to our friends at Leaders Credit Union!
  • The Jackson Generals will become the Hub City Hippos at every Friday home game this year as well! It's no joke! The team will wear special jerseys and hats at every game. Those jerseys will be signed and auctioned off at the end of the season with proceeds going to the Boys & Girls Club of Jackson thanks to Tennessee811! The Hippos are off to a 1-0 start after a victory on April 7.
