Generals to host "Haunted Ballpark" beginning October 18th

Guided tours sure to send everyone home scared
October 4, 2013

JACKSON, TENN. (October 4, 2013) - Beginning on October 18th, each Friday and Saturday night leading up to and including Halloween on October 31st, the home of the Jackson Generals will be transformed into a "Haunted Ballpark".

The Generals are partnering with North Side High School in Jackson and a percentage of the ticket revenue will go toward their athletics and ROTC programs. Many of the volunteers will be from North Side.

The guided tour will take you through the ballpark suites, clubhouse and around the outside of the outfield wall. The "Haunted Ballpark" is recommended for adults and teenagers. Children under 12 should be accompanied by an adult. Carrying young children through is NOT recommended.

"It's not necessarily going to be little kid friendly," added Generals Community Relations Manager Nick Hall. "It's going to be a really scary haunted ballpark."

Gates will open at 6 p.m. with tours beginning at 7 p.m. Tickets will be sold until 11 p.m., but tours will continue until everyone goes through, or when everyone is scared.

Admission is $12 for adults and $10 for students. For more info you can call the ballpark at 988-5299.
