Friday, August 16 Fireworks Game Postponed

 

AUGUSTA, Ga. - Due to the inclement weather, the Augusta GreenJackets Fireworks Friday doubleheader versus the Savannah Sand Gnats has been postponed.

The GreenJackets, who are currently in first place, will reschedule Friday's games as part of a doubleheader on Saturday, August 17 and Sunday August 18. Gates will open at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday and the first game will be seven innings, which will start at 5:30 p.m. The second game will also be seven innings and will follow 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first game.

The first 1,000 fans at Saturday's game will receive a free team photo. The GreenJackets will also have the Inflatamanicas performing during the game.

On Sunday, August 18, gates will open at 12:30 p.m. and the first game will start at 1 p.m., with the second game following 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first game. Both games will be seven innings.

Tickets for Friday's game can be exchanged to any future GreenJackets baseball game during the 2013 season. For ticket exchanges on Monday games, there is a $4 fee due to the Feed-Your-Face Promotion.
