GreenJackets Game Suspended Due to Rain

Augusta Leads Rome 2-0 Through Three Innings, Game Continues Tomorrow

Augusta, GA-The Augusta GreenJackets (35-38) started their second game against the Rome Braves (24-46) only to have the game suspended due to heavy rain and lightning on Tuesday night.
The GreenJackets scored their first run on a sacrifice fly, by Tyler Horan, in the first inning. Ryder Jones drove in the second run on a single to left-center field in the third inning.
The rest of tonight's game will be completed tomorrow at 11:00 AM. Gates open at 10:30 AM. The second game will follow immediately after.
Tickets from tonight's game can be exchanged for any future GreenJackets regular season home game in 2014, for equal or lesser value. Any future Monday game will incur a $4.00 "Feed Your Face" charge.
GreenJackets continue their homestand tomorrow with Super Splash Day and Georgia Natural Gas Bingo.
