GreenJackets Hosting Facebook Softball Game

The GreenJackets will be hosting a softball game on June 9 at Lake Olmstead Stadium after they face the Lexington Legends at 2:05 p.m.

Those who want to participate must submit a picture of themselves, their name, age, favorite baseball team and favorite GreenJackets moment to Katie Agostin at [email protected] by April 28. Then we turn it over to the GreenJacket fans. The pictures and short bios will go up in an album on the Augusta GreenJackets Facebook page.

The 32 people with the most likes on their photo by May 10 will get to play in a seven-inning softball game on the same field as the GreenJackets.

Those selected to play must sell at least 5 tickets at a discounted price of $8 to play in the game. There are also incentives for the player who sells the most tickets to the game!

The player who sells the most tickets will be the GreenJackets honorary member of the day and get to throw out a first pitch to the GreenJackets game, sit in the GreenJackets dugout for the first inning and bat lead-off for his or her team. You must be 18 years old or older to participate in the GreenJackets Facebook Softball Game.
