GreenJackets named 2016 Augusta Family Magazine Favorite Sporting Event

 

AUGUSTA, GA: The Augusta GreenJackets, Single "A" affiliate of the San Francisco Giants are excited to receive the honor of being named the Augusta Family Magazines Favorite Sporting Event. The GreenJackets have been named the Augusta Family Magazine's Favorite Sporting Event for six years straight (2011-2016). The GreenJackets are very appreciative for this honor.

 

"We strive to be the #1 spot for family FUN in the CSRA and this award is a small testament to that mission," stated Tom Denlinger GreenJackets General Manager. "Opening Day cannot get here soon enough and we look forward to defending our crown as Favorite Sporting Event!"

 

Throughout the six years, the GreenJackets have had to go up against different CSRA sporting events such as the Aiken Trails, The Masters, Peach Jam, Augusta Southern Nationals and many more. The GreenJackets in 2017 will look to create and engage the CSRA with a jam packed Promotional Schedule, bringing a summer of FUN for all ages.

 

The 2nd Annual World Series of Chili Cook-off presented by Spirit Communications will be Saturday, October 22nd from 12-5pm.
