Mazza finished the day going six innings and allowing three runs off of eight hits. He walked one and struck out four.

After Santos pitched a shutout in the seventh, the Drive were able to open it up in the eighth.
The GreenJackets will be back in action Saturday night for game two of the four game series with the Drive. First pitch is scheduled for 6:05pm with the gates opening at 4:30pm. It is Olympic Night, 4-H Night (Special Ticket Price and benefits going back to the 4H), and Miracle League Night featuring two teams from the Miracle League playing a thirty minute softball game on the field before the game. The first 1,000 fans into the stadium will receive a free cooling towel presented by Augusta University Health. There will also be a pregame concert by Jeff Bundy as part of the Saturday concert series. Kids 12 and under will be able to run the bases after the game.
