Drive Defeat Top Ranked Hot Rods

In front of a packed stadium, the Greenville Drive defeated the Bowling green Hot Rods 4-3 to win their first game of the series. Shane Drohan secured the win after tossing five innings and only allowed three hits. Greenville was the first to get on the scoreboard when Joe Davis

In front of a packed stadium, the Greenville Drive defeated the Bowling green Hot Rods 4-3 to win their first game of the series.

Shane Drohan secured the win after tossing five innings and only allowed three hits.

Greenville was the first to get on the scoreboard when Joe Davis booked it around third base off the bat Brandon Howlett.

The Hot Rods answered in the fourth thanks to a Kyle Manzardo RBI.

The fourth was nothing but bombs for the Drive. Joe Davis was the first to hit one out the park and Brandon Howlett joined in on the fun when he hit a dinger himself. Niko Kavadas hit a homerun his first night here at Fluor Field.

Bowling Green chipped away at the lead in the sixth inning Osleivis Basabe came across the dish off the bat of Manzardo and Alika Williams was batted in by Tanner Murray.

Ryan Fernandez with the crowd on their feet put the game away with a three up three down 9th inning.

The Drive will look for another win tomorrow at 7:05.
