Columbia, SC - Behind the right arm of starting pitcher Denyi Reyes, the Greenville Drive shut out the Columbia Fireflies 3-0 on Sunday night in game three of the series.
Reyes (4-2) was dominant from start to finish in the Drive's first nine-inning complete game in franchise history. He needed just 92 pitches to complete his gem, and he allowed just three hits in the scoreless outing while striking out eight and not issuing a walk.

The only offense Reyes needed came in the top of the second, when the Drive (12-36) plated a pair of runs against David Peterson (1-3). Kervin Suarez lined an RBI double in the frame to score Zach Sterry, who led off with a single. Suarez later came in to score on a line drive single to center by Ricardo Cubillan.
The duo of Suarez and Cubillan struck again in the top of the ninth for an insurance run, as Suarez doubled to right and came in on Cubillan's second RBI single of the game.
Cubillan, Suarez and Frankie Rios all notched two hits for the Drive on Sunday.
Peterson put together a strong start for the Fireflies (26-22) in defeat, as he allowed just two runs with seven strikeouts in six and two-third innings.
The teams will close out their four-game series on Monday in Columbia, and first pitch for the Memorial Day tilt is scheduled for 12:05 PM. The Drive will send right-hander Kutter Crawford (0-2, 1.70) to the mound to face off against Fireflies left-hander Jake Simon (0-3, 3.86).
