GREENVILLE, S.C. - Three runs in the sixth and a run in the seventh gave Greenville the 4-3 win over Augusta on Tuesday night, as the Drive evened the four-game series at 1-1.
The Drive put runners in scoring position in two of the game's first three innings but failed to push across a run. Augusta stranded runners in the three of the first four innings, but also failed to convert. The GreenJackets broke a scoreless tie in the top of the fifth, as Anyesber Sivira picked up a sacrifice fly RBI to give Augusta the 1-0 lead.
Greenville scored its first runs of the series in the bottom of the sixth. Brandon Howlett tallied a leadoff single, then Jordan Wren recorded a one-out double to put runners on second and third. Kervin Suarez then doubled to score both runners and give the Drive the 2-1 lead. Two batters later, following a walk to Cole Brannen, Jonathan Ortega singled to score Suarez and push the Drive lead to 3-1.

After back-to-back walks to lead off the bottom of the seventh, Suarez singled to score Everlouis Lozada and push the Greenville lead to 4-1. Augusta got two runs back in the eighth, thanks to a double and sacrifice fly after the first three batters reached base, cutting the Greenville lead to 4-3.
Oddanier Mosqueda came on in relief for the Drive in the top of the ninth and pitched a clean inning, earning the save and securing the 4-3 victory.
Drive starter Brayan Bello took a no-decision in a strong outing, throwing 5.0 innings and allowing just an unearned run on four hits with three strikeouts against two walks. Devon Fisher (1-2) earned the win, giving up two runs on two hits with three Ks in 3.0 innings, while Mosqueda picked up his second save.
Wren reached base three times, going 2-for-three with a walk and a run scored, while Suarez went 2-for-4 with a run scored and three of the team's four RBIs. Ortega tallied the fourth RBI for the Drive, while Lozada and Howlett each scored a run.
Augusta starter Seth Corry allowed no runs on four hits in 5.0 innings and reliever Ryan Walker (2-3) was tagged with the loss after allowing four runs on five hits in 2.0 innings.
The Drive and GreenJackets continue their four-game series on Wednesday. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
