FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno Grizzlies, Triple-A affiliate of the San Francisco Giants, have partnered with Uber for a sleek transportation option for fans heading to Downtown Fresno for Tecate Thursday at Chukchansi Park.

As an incentive for fans taking an Uber to tonight's 7:05 p.m. game against the Las Vegas 51s, the Grizzlies will offer up a free game ticket and a VIP Express Gate entrance. Moreover, Uber is currently offering people three free rides (up to $25 each) to people using the promo code "FresYes." Therefore, fans can receive free transportation and a free game ticket into this week's Tecate Thursday.

Tecate Thursday offers fans 21 and over $2 24 ounce Tecate and Tecate Light through the end of the fifth inning, while all fans can purchase $1 12 ounce sodas all game long.

Fans taking an Uber on Thursday will be dropped off at a special VIP Express Gate entrance where they will receive their game ticket upon showing their Uber receipt.

Exclusive to this Thursday, the first 25 fans arriving through the Uber VIP Express Gate will be granted access to the pool party in left center field.

Uber is evolving the way the world moves. By downloading the smartphone app, a ride to anywhere in the city is available at the tap of a button, and it's cheaper than a taxi. Set your pickup location and request a ride - a driver will be curbside in minutes. You'll be able to watch the driver on their way to you, and you'll receive a notification when they've arrived. There's no reserving rides ahead of time, just open the app and request a ride whenever you need one. Credit card information is stored in the app, so you never need to carry cash. Use Uber and change the way you arrive.

The Fresno Grizzlies are in the thick of their 17th season as the San Francisco Giants Triple-A affiliate. Armed with nine of the Giants Top 30 Prospects, the Grizzlies are within reach of first place in the Pacific Coast League Pacific Northern Division. Over a half a million tickets for the 2014 season are priced at $14 or less. Upcoming promotion highlights include Star Wars Night on May 31st, a June 14th appearance by Calum Worthy (Dez on Disney's Austin & Ally) and a Tim Lincecum bobblehead giveaway on June 28th.
