Albuquerque tallied their first run to tie the contest 1-1 in the first when a Noel Cuevas (2-for-4) RBI triple scored Mike Tauchman who doubled to get on. With the Grizzlies up 3-1 after the third, a Tom Murphy RBI double put the home team within one. Once Fresno was up 5-2, Cuevas drove in another run with a double to make the final score 5-3 in the bottom of the fifth.
