Taco Truck Throwdown 3 draws near
Taco Truck Throwdown 3, presented by BigLeagueStew.com and Yahoo! Sports, is ready to go for Thursday, August 1st at Chukchansi Park.
One of summer's best events in the Central Valley, Taco Truck Throwdown challenges local taco trucks to compete against one another as fans try to determine the best in the Valley. In 2012, the event's second year, over 14,000 tacos were eaten from 13 trucks. The game had 11,463 fans attend.
Tickets packs for Taco Truck Throwdown 3 are available now. One pack includes a Field Level Reserved ticket, 4 taco vouchers, and a Taco Truck Throwdown t-shirt for $20. The other pack option includes a Field Level Reserved ticket, 8 taco vouchers, and a Taco Truck Throwdown t-shirt for $28.
In 2013, there will be old favorites as well as new trucks. Cities such as Mendota, Centerville, Selma, Reedley, Sanger, and Fresno will be represented by taco trucks competing in the Throwdown.
The 2012 champion in both the Judges' Choice and People's Choice, El Premio Mayor, will look to defend its title. There is no doubt new and old trucks will be looking to take away the title from Fresno's El Premio Mayor.
