Homestand Highlights: May 23-29

Sunday Funday, Memorial Day highlight seven-game homestand

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA - The Gwinnett Braves return to Coolray Field for a seven-game homestand from Tuesday, May 23 through Monday, May 29. The G-Braves will host the Buffalo Bisons, Triple-A affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays, and the Syracuse Chiefs, Triple-A affiliate of the Washington Nationals. 

The homestand begins with Two-For-Tuesday on May 23. Other promotions throughout the week include Triple Play Thursday (sponsored by Coolray Heating & Cooling) on May 25, and Sunday Funday (sponsored by Georgia United Credit Union) on May 28. The homestand concludes with Memorial Day festivities on May 29.

Tuesday, May 23

Opponent: Buffalo Bisons (Toronto Blue Jays)

First Pitch: 7:05 p.m.

Wednesday, May 24

Thursday, May 25

Sunday, May 28

Features:

  • Sunday Funday - Fans are invited to play catch on the field before the game from 12:05 p.m. lasting approximately 20 minutes. Later, kids (ages 12 and under) are welcome to run the bases following the game as part of "Sunday Funday" presented by Georgia United Credit Union.

 

Monday, May 29

Opponent: Syracuse Chiefs (Washington Nationals)

First Pitch: 1:05 p.m.

Features:

  • Dog Day Monday - Purchase a Coolray Field Lawn ticket and bring your dog in free! Offer is only valid for Lawn seating and dogs are not permitted on the Main Concourse.
  • Memorial Day - Join the G-Braves as they honor the centennial of World War I on Memorial Day. There will be a mini U.S. flag giveaway, courtesy of the U.S. Army. The Army will also have vehicles on hand for fans to explore as they enter the main gate. Fans will also receive poppy seeds, an internationally recognized symbol of remembrance for veteran sacrifice, as they enter Coolray Field.
