RaceTrac Teams Up with Braves Organization for 2014 Season

Atlanta-based Convenience Store Initiates Season-long Partnership
May 13, 2014

ATLANTA - May 15, 2014 - "Play ball!" is guaranteed to be a favorite phrase among Atlanta area Trac Fanatics during the 2014 baseball season. This year, Atlanta-based RaceTrac is entering into a new partnership with the Atlanta and Gwinnett Braves as the two brands join forces for a summer full of fun.

Braves fans will see RaceTrac everywhere they look in Atlanta's Turner Field and Gwinnett's Coolray Field, from signage to in-game features. To kick off the partnership, RaceTrac celebrated Hank Aaron's 40th Home Run Anniversary on Opening Day by giving 40 $40 gift cards to Braves fans that checked in on the Braves At the Ballpark app.

Next up, RaceTrac is sponsoring the "RaceTrac Home Run Inning" at each Braves home game in 2014. During every home game, a random inning is selected as the "Race Trac Home Run Inning." If the Braves hit a home run during that selected inning, fans can take their ticket stub into their local RaceTrac the next day and redeem any combination of food or beverage items up to a $5 value for free.*

Additionally, RaceTrac's 2014 Sodapalooza cup will feature offers from some of Atlanta's favorite brands. "The Hometown Team" on this year's cup is comprised of RaceTrac, The Braves and Coca-Cola. Inside their cups, Trac Fanatics will find RaceTrac and Coca-Cola coupons, as well as a buy-one, get-one ticket offer from the Braves, allowing guests to buy one Braves ticket, get one for a friend for free!

"We are excited to have RaceTrac on board as a proud partner of the Atlanta Braves," said Jim Allen, Atlanta Braves Vice President of Corporate Partnerships. "RaceTrac is Atlanta's hometown convenience store and we look forward to Trac Fanatics joining the Braves during the 2014 season."

Throughout the regular season, RaceTrac will host RaceTrac Nights at both Atlanta and Gwinnett Braves games. Proceeds from RaceTrac Night tickets purchased via the links below will go to benefit Camp Sunshine. ** Braves fans can also bring new or gently used baseball equipment to the stadiums on RaceTrac Nights and all items collected will be donated to Metro Atlanta Boys & Girls Clubs.

Each RaceTrac Night will feature RaceTrac team members serving as team captains or throwing out the first pitch, as well as post-game coupon giveaways, Swirl World frozen yogurt samples and cameos from RaceTrac's mascot, Brewster!

"RaceTrac's partnership with the Braves is a fun way to share in America's favorite sport with our hometown team," said Allison Moran, CEO of RaceTrac. "We hope Atlantans enjoy all of the fun activities RaceTrac is hosting at Turner Field and Coolray Field this season."
