Stripers, Rochester Postponed Sunday

Gwinnett will make up game as part of doubleheader in Rochester

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Sunday's 1:05 p.m. game between the Gwinnett Stripers and the Rochester Red Wings has been postponed by rain and wet field conditions. With the teams not meeting again at Coolray Field this season, the game will be made up as part of a doubleheader when the teams play at Rochester's Frontier Field from April 23-25. A specific date and time has not yet been announced.

 

Tickets for Sunday's game may be exchanged for any remaining 2018 regular-season home game (subject to availability). Call the Gwinnett Stripers Ticket Office at 678-277-0340 for more information.

The Stripers continue the homestand on Monday, April 16 with a single nine-inning game, the opener of a three-game series vs. the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. Left-hander Kolby Allard (0-0, 6.75 ERA) is slated to start for Gwinnett, while Scranton/Wilkes-Barre will counter with right-hander Chance Adams (0-0, 4.15 ERA). Tony Schiavone has the play-by-play call on 97.7 FM The Other Side of the River beginning at 6:35 p.m.
