HAGERSTOWN, Md. - Continuing rain storms postponed the series opener between the Hagerstown Suns and Hickory Crawdads on Friday at Municipal Stadium.
The teams will play their scheduled Saturday game at 6:05 p.m. with a newly-added doubleheader on Sunday beginning at 2:05 p.m. Both games of the doubleheader are scheduled for seven innings.
Hagerstown and Hickory will conclude their series on Monday at 10:35 a.m. during Education Day at Municipal Stadium.
Mother Nature has not been kind to the Suns in 2017, postponing six games with rain in the first 17 home dates. The Suns postponed only four home games during the entire 2016 season. On Sunday, the Suns will play their fifth home doubleheader this season.
Fans holding tickets for Friday's game may exchange those tickets at the Municipal Stadium box office for any other Suns regular season home game in 2017. Sunday ticket holders are welcome to attend both games of the doubleheader. For more information on Suns ticketing, call (301) 791-6266.
Live radio coverage of Saturday's game will begin with the Sunrise Pregame Show at 5:55 p.m. on the Hagerstown Suns Radio Network with Kevin Gehl. Listen live from anywhere on hagerstownsuns.com.
