Jupiter, FL (July 3, 2017) - Lakeland scored all five of their runs in the seventh inning off Evan Beal to split the current four game series with the Hammerheads.
Lakeland loaded the bases before an out was recorded in the seventh, scoring the five runs on three hits, two walks, and two errors in the inning.
James Buckelew pitched another gem, lowering his ERA to 0.95 in four starts. The lefty tossed six innings, giving up no runs, on two hits while striking out five.
Mason Davis was the majority of the offense for the Hammerheads, going 3-4 at the plate hitting in the leadoff spot. Since being promoted from Low-A Greensboro, Davis is hitting .316 and figures to be a main stay in the top of the order.
The Hammerheads will be on the road for a three game series at the Fire Frogs, before returning home for a four game weekend series with the St. Lucie Mets.
