Jupiter, FL (June 28, 2017)- Ryan Beckman (1-1, 2.53 ERA) surrendered two runs to the Fire Frogs (28-44, 3-3) in the tenth inning in a 2-0 loss Wednesday night.

Alex Jackson hit an RBI double in the top of the 10th inning, and later scored on a wild pitch, chipping in for the only two runs scored in the game.

The Hammerheads (36-38, 3-3) had a chance to respond in the bottom half of the inning, but Josh Graham struck John Silviano out with a runner on first to end the game.

The Hammerheads were shut out for the seventh time this season, while the Fire Frogs' staff recorded their sixth shutout of the year.

Both teams combined to strikeout out 32 times, with six players from both sides striking out three times.

James Buckelew, making his third start with the Hammerheads in 2017, looked sharp while picking up a no-decision.

The Lefty tossed five innings, surrendering only two hits while striking out seven and walking one.

These two teams will meet tomorrow for the rubber match of this three-game set.

The Hammerheads will send RHP Ben Meyer (1-0, 1.29 ERA) to the mound. He'll be opposed by LHP Oriel Caicedo (0-0, 4.50 ERA).

First pitch is scheduled for noon, as it's Splash Day at Roger Dean Stadium.
