Jupiter, FL (May 10, 2017)- The Bradenton Marauders put up a three spot in the third inning against Hammerhead starter Ben Holmes (0-4 4.91 ERA), which was all the run support they needed in a 5-1 victory Wednesday night.

The loss is Jupiter's sixth in a row, and their eighth loss in their last ten games. Holmes would only last 3.2 innings, giving up four runs on four hits, while also walking four batters. The Jupiter pitching staff, which has been the teams' backbone this season, gave up a season-high 11 walks.

The Hammerheads were held hitless for the first 4.2 innings of the game, when John Silviano broke up the bid with a single to right field. Silviano would also triple in the seventh inning and scored on a Brian Schales RBI single, the lone Hammerhead run of the night. Schales leads the team in RBI's this season with 14.

The Hammerheads will get right back at it tomorrow, welcoming the St. Lucie Mets to Roger Dean Stadium, with first pitch scheduled for 6:30 PM. Right-hander Felipe Gonzalez (2-3 5.59 ERA) will get the start for Jupiter. He'll be opposed by Justin Dunn (1-2 6.91 ERA)
