Palm Beach Cardinals 2014 Schedule Announced

JUPITER, FL - It will be another year packed with Minor League action at Roger Dean Stadium once the Florida State League season kicks off in April. The Jupiter Hammerheads and the Palm Beach Cardinals will each play 70 home games at Roger Dean Stadium and the two tenants of the stadium will square off against each other 18 times throughout the season.

The 2014 Florida State League season will begin on April 3rd when the Hammerheads take on the Fort Myers Miracle. The Cardinals' home opener will be two days later when they face the St. Lucie Mets. Both games will start at 6:35 p.m. as will the majority of games on Monday through Saturday. Most Sunday games will start at 1:05 p.m. with the exception of games on June 8th, June 22nd and July 20th that will start at 5:05 p.m. The regular season will run through August concluding full circle when the Hammerheads take on the Miracle on August 31st.

The first matchup between Jupiter and Palm Beach will take place on April 28th with the Cardinals as the home team. In 2013, the Cardinals took home bragging rights in the annual Fins and Feathers Series going 10-8 against the Hammerheads.

This year will be the most exciting season ever at Roger Dean Stadium with eight outstanding special promotion nights. The Great 8 includes Star Wars Night (April 5th), Boot Scoot & Baseball (May 10th), Halfway to Halloween (May 31st), Kids Fest (June 21st), Mega Bash VI (July 3rd & 4th), Swings & Wings (July 19th), Baseball & Brews (August 2nd), and Back to School Night (August 9th).
