The Harrisburg Senators tallied the placed runner in the 10th inning, then kept Richmond from scoring in the bottom of the 10th for a 3-2 win Sunday afternoon. The Sens took two of the three games played over the weekend from Richmond.

ON CAPITAL HILL

Mario Sanchez started and pitched well enough to earn the win. He went six innings and allowed just three hits and a run. He faced 23 batters while striking out six. He left with a 2-1 lead.

Nick Wells followed Sanchez and went 1.2 innings allowing four hits and the tying run to score in the eighth.

Pearson McMahan tossed 1.1 innings, walking two and allowing a hit but stranding the winning run at third in the ninth.

Gabe Klobosits earned his second save, stranding the tying run at third in the tenth inning with a game-ending strikeout.

WITH THE GAVEL

Aldrem Corredor had three hits and drove in all three runs with two singles and a groundout.

Cole Freeman led the game off with a double and scored on the Corredor groundout in the first inning. He also had a single in the eighth.

Alex Dunlap and Jecksson Flores both had two hits including a double.

FILIBUSTERS

Harrisburg finished the game with a season-high team batting average of .191. Harrisburg is among the league leaders in turned double plays but did not turn one the entire series.
