The Harrisburg Senators took a 2-0 lead in the top of the sixth, but Portland rallied for five runs in the bottom of the fifth on their way to a 6-3 win over Harrisburg Tuesday night. The win is the 14th straight for Portland pending the outcome of a suspended game earlier this month. After winning two straight over the weekend, the Sens have now dropped two straight.

ON CAPITAL HILL

Tim Cate started and pitched five solid innings allowing five hits and three runs. He struck out four and walked two. Through the first five frames, he allowed just one hit and faced 18 batters.

Jhon Romero came on in relief of Cate retiring the first two batters he faced before giving up four straight hits.

Ryan Tapani tossed a scoreless frame while striking out two.

Frankie Bartow pitched the eighth inning and allowed a run on two hits while striking out two.

WITH THE GAVEL

Aldrem Corredor had a double and a two-run home run. The RBIs were his 39th and 40th on the season.

KJ Harrison had two hits in the game, both singles.

Jackson Cluff homered in the ninth, his second dinger with the Senators.
