SUMMARY

The Senators fell in the season finale Sunday afternoon 6-4 to the New Hampshire Fisher Cats at Delta Dental Stadium in Manchester, NH. The Senators had an early 3-0 lead after a 3-run home run by Ian Sagdal. But they couldn’t hold the lead and eventually watched New Hampshire tally five times in the fourth inning to take control of the game.

ON CAPITAL HILL

Gerardo Carrillo went four innings in his final start of the season. He allowed four earned runs on five hits. He also struck out six but allowed two home runs.

Alex Troop pitched 3.2 innings facing 12 batters and striking out eight.

Carlos Navas retired the only batter he faced via the strikeout.

WITH THE GAVEL

Ian Sagdal went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run and a double. He also scored twice.
