The Harrisburg Senators fell to the Bowie Baysox 5-4 in extra innings Tuesday night at FNB Field. The Baysox scored a pair of runs in the 10th and held on in the bottom of the frame to take the series opener.

Anthony Santander opened the scoring a sacrifice fly in the third to put the Baysox in front 1-0.
Austin Davidson responded quickly in the bottom of the frame with a solo home run to right, his fourth of the season, to tie the game 1-1.
Bowie retook a one-run lead when Martin Cervenka hit a sacrifice fly to right in fourth.
Neither starter factored in the decision. Senators starter Wirkin Estevez lasted four innings and allowed two runs on seven hits with five strikeouts and two walks.
Senators manager Matt LeCroy said, "Wirkin didn't have his good fastball but I thought he did a nice job since he didn't have his best stuff. He competed."
Baysox starter Gabriel Ynoa allowed three hits and a run in four frames.
After Bowie added a run in the top of the sixth on a third sacrifice fly, the Senators came back to tie the game in the bottom of the frame. Zach Collier doubled in Stephen Perez to jump start the scoring in the inning. Later in the frame, with the bases loaded, Drew Ward bounced a single to right to score Collier and tie the game at 3-3.
The game remained tied until the 10th, when the Baysox took the lead in the extra innings. In the top of the 10th, with the bases loaded on a pair of walks and the free-runner to start the inning, Aderlin Rodriguez singled off Senators reliever Jeff Ames to score two and give the Baysox a 5-3 lead.
Raudy Read singled in the free-runner, Perez, in the bottom of the frame to cut the lead to one, but the next batter, Dan Gamache, lined out to short to end the ball game.
Tanner Chleborad (2-0) worked three scoreless innings of relief to earn the win. Jeff Ames (2-1) took his first loss after allowing the go-ahead two runs in the 10th. Brandon Kline allowed the lone unearned run in the 10th to seal the 5-4 win and notch his third save.
"We just have to come back tomorrow, the boys have been playing well and they've been fighting," Matt LeCroy said. "Hopefully we'll get back on that winning track again."
The Senators and Baysox continue the series with a doubleheader Wednesday afternoon. Luis Reyes and Austen Williams start for the Senators against Bowie starters Brian Gonzalez and Christian Binford in games one and two respectively. First pitch for game one is scheduled for 12:00 p.m. The games can be heard on CBS Sports Harrisburg 96.5 & 95.3 FM and 1400 AM or at www.cbssportsharrisburg.com beginning at 11:45 a.m.
