MANCHESTER, NH- Bo Bichette slugged a three-run homer, two doubles, knocked in four runs and scored three, to lead the first place New Hampshire Fisher Cats to a 10-3 victory over the Hartford Yard Goats Friday night. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. also homered and had three hits, to lift his Eastern League-leading battting average to .435. It was the Toronto Blue Jays affiliate's ninth win in 10 games against Hartford this season.  New Hampshire (28-17) now leads third place Hartford (25-22) by four games.
The Fisher Cats broke open a 2-0 game against Yard Goats' starter Jack Wynkoop with four runs in the sixth inning. Bichette, the son of former major league star Dante Bichette, had an RBI-double to highlight the uprising. He put the game away, during a four-run seventh with a three-run homer to left-center. Guerrero, Jr. followed with a home run over the wall in right, his 10th of the season. It was the second straight game the two hit home runs in the same inning.
Wynkoop fell to 2-4 on the season, allowing six runs in five innings plus. He gave up 11 hits, no walks, and struck out one. Meanwhile, Harris (3-3) defeated Hartford for the second time this year. The Toronto Blue Jays first round draft pick in 2015 tossed a season-high 7 1/3 innings, scattered seven hits, allowed two unearned runs, did not walk anybody and struck out two.
Brian Mundell led the Hartford offense with three hits, including a home run. Omar Carrizales added and RBI-double.
