HARRISBURG, PA- Coco Montes slugged two home runs and Casey Golden added a three-run double, lifting the Hartford Yard Goats to an 8-2 victory over Harrisburg Sunday afternoon in their 100th game of the season. The victory enabled Hartford (34-66) to earn a split of the six-game series. Starting pitcher Ryan Feltner notched the win, improving to 5-2. He hurled 5.2 innings, allowing two runs on eight hits. Colorado's fourth round pick in 2018 struck out eight and walked one. After reliever Nick Kennedy entered in the sixth inning to record a strike out with two men on, David Hill recorded a rare three-inning save, holding the Senators to no runs on three hits. He struck out four.

Montes staked Hartford to a 1-0 lead in the first inning with a home run into the right field bullpen off starter Jackson Tetreault. Willie Abreu added his seventh homer of the year in the second inning, pulling the ball inside the right field foul pole. The Yard Goats made it 6-0 in the fifth on a sacrifice fly by Elehuris Montero and Golden's three-run double into the left field corner. Harrisburg (39-61) bounced back in the fifth inning with a two-run double by Gage Canning, but Montes settled the issue with a two-run blast onto the concourse in left center in the ninth inning. It was his 13th home run of the season.

Montes had two homers, three RBI and three runs scored to lead Hartford's nine-hit attack. Manny Melendez added two hits and a run scored. Canning had a double, two singles and two RBI to pace Harrisburg's 11-hit output. Tetreault dropped to 4-2 with the loss. He permitted six runs on seven hits in five innings, walking two and striking out four.

The Yard Goats return home to Dunkin' Donuts Park, Tuesday at 7:05 PM, to host the Reading Fightin' Phils in a six-game series. LHP Nick Bush will start Tuesday night's contest for Hartford. The game will be broadcast on News Radio 1410AM, 100.9FM, on the internet at newsradio1410.iheart.com (i-heart radio app) and video- streamed on MiLB.TV.
