Yard Goats Defeated by Fisher Cats 4-2  
Hartford, CT- The New Hampshire Fisher Cats scored three runs in the second inning and defeated the Hartford Yard Goats 4-2 on Friday night at Dunkin' Donuts Park in Hartford. It was the second game of a four game series. Vince Fernandez cranked his second home run in two games, a solo shot in the second inning for the Yard Goats who fell to 2-7. The two clubs will play tomorrow night at 6:05PM at Dunkin' Donuts Park.      
The Fisher Cats scored three runs in the second inning off Hartford starting pitcher Ty Culbreth. The Blue Jays affiliate got RBI singles by Vinny Capra and Kacy Clemens, son of former MLB pitcher Roger Clemens, to take a 2-0 lead. Later in the inning the Fisher Cats scored a run on a passed ball to make it 3-0.
The Yard Goats scored their first run in the second inning on a solo home run by Vince Fernandez off New Hampshire starter Zach Logue. Fernandez ripped a home run into the left field seats to make it a 3-1 game.
New Hampshire scored a run in the fifth inning on Alberto Mineo's double and the Yard Goats came back with a run in the bottom of the inning on an RBI fielder's choice by Tyler Nevin to make it 4-2. However, the Fisher Cats bullpen fired 4.1 scoreless innings of relief to secure the win.     
The Yard Goats continue their first homestand on Saturday night (6:05 PM) against the Fisher Cats. The game will be broadcast on FM 97.9 ESPN, AM 1410 WPOP and 100.9 FM and streamed on newsradio.1410.com and MiLB.com.
