DG Elmore - Principal Owner
D.G. Elmore is the Chairman and Owner of the Helena Brewers and the Vice President of the Elmore Sports Group. Mr. Elmore is also the President and Owner of Gant Travel management, a company serving the business travel needs of corporate clients. He is a Chairman and partial Owner of Velo Sports Vacations, Decision Tree Resources, National Educational Services, Cornerstone Information Systems, and Adams & Westlake Ltd. He sits on the Board of Directors for the New Horizons Foundation and The Navigators. Mr. Elmore is a 1980 graduate of SMU with a degree in accounting and a 1984 graduate of Indiana University, where he received both his Law degree and Masters in Business. He enjoys skiing, IU sports, and ministry activities. He and his wife Gini reside in Bloomington, Indiana with their six children Hillary, Lauren, Gant, Callie, Trent and Brock.
Paul Fetz - President & General Manager
Paul is currently in his 29th season in professional baseball and 16th with the Helena franchise. He spent three years guiding the club when it was located in Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada. Paul broke into professional baseball while he was still a student at Gonzaga University, working for two years with the Spokane Indians. Following his graduation in May of 1989 with a degree in Public Relations, Paul spent the next three seasons with the Albuquerque Dukes of the Pacific Coast League. After a one-year stay in Colorado Springs with the Sky Sox, he was named Assistant General Manager of the Idaho Falls Padres, a post he held until 1999. When the Elmore Sports Group acquired the Medicine Hat franchise, team owner D.G. Elmore tabbed Paul as the new General Manager, the position he has held ever since.
Matthew Ramstead - Director of Group Sales & Marketing
Matthew Ramstead is entering his 3rd season in Helena. Born and raised in Washington, Matt completed his AA degree in General Studies at Olympic College in 2012, but soon moved away to Lewiston Idaho to pursue a BA in Sports Administration. While attending Lewis-Clark State College, Matt worked as a Athletic Event Mangers Assistant for the University of Idaho. This experience offered him the opportunity to work at the First and Second round of the 2016 NCAA tournament in Spokane. Matt completed his BA in Sports Administration in 2015. During his free time Matt enjoys playing basketball, going on hikes, working out and spending time with his girlfriend Mercedies and his dogs.
James Van Dyke - Director of Operations & Ticketing
This will be James' third season with the Helena Brewers. Originally from Eagle, CO, he graduated from Metropolitan State University of Denver (MSUD), in 2015, with a Bachelors in Sports Management and Minor in Business Management. James was a proud advocate of the Sports Industry Operations Club (SIO) at MSUD. Through the SIO club they traveled and toured stadiums, picked the brains of General Manager's, and given the chance to build a sports specific, social network, across Colorado. That's ultimately where James got the idea to work in Minor League Baseball. James brings a wealth of knowledge to the operations side, previously working for the Colorado Rockies Baseball Club as a Field Guard (2012-2015), and part-time Warehouse/ Retail staff for Kroenke Sports and Entertainment (2013-2015). In college James worked the NHL Winter Classic series between (Avalanche vs Red Wings) & the AFC Championship game between the Denver Broncos and New England Patriots in 2013.
Greg Mroz - Director of Broadcasting & Media Relations
Greg Mroz takes over as the Director of Broadcasting & Media Relations for the 2018 season after spending 2017 with the San Rafael Pacifics of the Pacific Association. A San Francisco Bay Area native, Mroz graduated from Northwestern University in 2015, and spent his first two baseball seasons with the Clinton LumberKings of the Midwest League. Mroz is an avid golfer who has played competitively since high school. He is excited to try the many craft brews that Helena has to offer.
Brad Robertson - Head Groundskeeper
Brad is pleased to join the Helena Brewers staff for the upcoming 2018 season. He has made his way up to Helena from his hometown of Melbourne, Florida where he first broke into the field of turf management. His first job in baseball was with the Washington Nationals at their Spring Training facility in Brevard County. This position also allowed him to work closely with the Brevard County Manatees, a former Single-A Advanced affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers. After two years at Space Coast Stadium he then went to work for the City of Melbourne where he maintained local ball fields within his community. His love of baseball has led him back to the minor leagues and he is ecstatic to be a part of our organization. In his free time Brad is looking forward to taking in everything Big Sky Country has to offer.
