The Hickory Crawdads are bringing back their annual Christian Concerts in 2018. Finding Favour, presented by 106.9 The Light, will play following the Crawdads game on April 28th. The Sidewalk Prophets, presented by Gardner-Webb University and 106.9 The Light, will headline the post-game concert on July 21st. The games on both dates will start at 5pm. The concerts will take place immediately following the conclusion of the game.

Suites, party patios, picnics, and group tickets are currently available for both concert dates. Individual tickets will go on sale at the annual Crawdads Spring Fling on Saturday, March 17th. Individual tickets will be $15 while the group rate (for 20 or more) is only $12. Tickets include admission for the 'Dads game and the post-game concerts.
The Sidewalk Prophets have released three studio albums, with their biggest song, "You Love Me Anyway," reaching number 1 on the Billboard Christian Single charts. Their 2012 single "Live Like That" climbed to #2 on the charts and got the group nominated for a Gospel Music Association's Dove Award. They have earned 4 Dove nominations, taking home the award for New Artist of the Year in 2010.
Founding members Dave Frey and Ben McDonald met at Anderson University and launched the band to stardom after getting attention on the campus radio station. The pair wrote their most recent album, Something Different, in the seclusion of a cabin on a Pennsylvania lake. "All these things were happening in our lives at that time but here we sat, on the peaceful serenity of this lake," Frey said. "It was a different way to approach writing. Instead of a clock in and clock out approach to writing, we were in the moment, in this environment for days on end asking God to fill the quiet but remove the distractions and burdens, and allow Him to speak through us. I think the whole experience facilitated, in turn, a different way to show our hearts to the world." In addition to Frey (lead vocals) and McDonald (rhythm guitarist), the band also includes Cal Joslin (bass), Justin Nace (drums), and Daniel Macal (lead guitarist).
Finding Favour is currently touring on TobyMac's HITS DEEP TOUR. Originally from Vidalia, Georgia the band formed in 2005 and now consists of members Blake NeeSmith, Allen Dukes, Dustin Daniels, Matt Pacco, and Jon August. Their first album, Reborn, peaked at number 1 on the US Christian charts. In August 2017 they released their album, Farewell Fear.
NeeSmith said the album was based on fear of the thought of falling short of 'normalcy.' "We're all in our thirties-most of us have wives and kids-and there's fear involved in that," he said. "We wanted to discuss honest stuff in these songs, and there's fear involved with that. Early on in this album's writing process, the statement we wanted to make became clear to us: 'Lord, we trust You and know You have plans for us; so we don't need to live in fear.'"
