The Crawdads offense struck first, scoring two runs in the bottom of the first inning.
The game entered a weather delay in the second inning that ended 'Dads starting pitcher
The 'Dads extended their lead in the bottom of the fourth with another pair of runs.
Dorow added onto the lead with a solo homerun in the fifth inning. The homerun was his twelfth of the year.
The 'Dads offense kept it going in the sixth, scoring three more runs. Preston Scott led off the inning with a homerun.
The Crawdads scored in their fourth consecutive inning in the seventh to make the score 11-0. Pozo started things off with the 'Dads third double of the night. Preston Scott singled and advanced Pozo to third. Enright walked to load the bases.
Greensboro broke up the shutout with a run in the eighth inning.
Tonight's win, and West Virginia's loss, keeps the 'Dads in the playoff hunt. The Crawdads trail West Virginia by two and a half games with three games to play.
The 'Dads and Grasshoppers will play again tomorrow night as the ZOOperstars! return to the Frans for a 7pm game. The first 500 fans will receive a team card set presented by WHKY Talk Radio. Following the game the entire team will be signing post game autographs.
