2014 Season Opener to Kick Off Promotional Schedule

The Hillcats are kicking off the 2014 season with a four game homestand beginning on Thursday, April 3rd at 6:0pm when the Frederick Keys roll into Lynchburg. Fans can look forward to giveaways, fireworks and the first Theme Thursday of the year to bring in the new season!

Opening Day is Thursday, April 3rd at 6:05pm against the Frederick Keys. Don't miss our Opening Night Pennant Giveaway for the first 1,000 fans through the gates, courtesy of Pepsi / WROV! Plus, the Theme Thursday schedule will begin with April Fool's Day...Night. If you though April 1st had come and gone, you may still need to watch your back as Southpaw and the staff could be pulling some pranks this evening! It's also a Thursday Cheers with $2 drink specials presented by Miller Lite, Yuengling & 97.9 FM The Planet.

The series continues on Friday, April 4th at 6:05pm. The first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive a free Schedule Magnet presented by Nadine Blakely, Realtor / WYYD! We'll also have $3 drink specials on 16oz drafts and 32oz souvenir cup soda presented by 93.7 & 106.9 KHF and be sure to check out our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/LynchburgHillcats for a printable coupon good for $5 admission!

Saturday, April 5th is a 6:05pm start and is our first postgame Fireworks show of 2014 presented by Liberty University! It's also our "Smoke Free" School Night #1 presented by TUCP & HIPE. All students K-12 will receive free admission! No smoking will be permitted inside the stadium that evening.

The first homestand will wrap up on Sunday, April 6th at 2:05pm which is a Faith Sunday offering $3 advance tickets to church groups of ten or more! Plus, we'll have pregame autographs on the concourse and postgame Kids Run the Bases presented by Uncle Bob's Self Storage. And kids 14 and under that are a member of Southpaw's Kids Club presented by Fox's Pizza Den will receive a free hot dog and drink!
