Monday night's rainout at Carolina has been rescheduled as part of a doubleheader at City Stadium May 10 at 5:30 p.m.

Because the Hillcats do not return to Five County Stadium in the first half of the season, the two teams will need to make up Monday's postponed contest when the two teams play in Lynchburg next month. The series that begins May 9 will now feature four games in three days with a doubleheader on Wednesday, May 10.

May 10 will be Game Show Night presented by Cruise Planners where fans in attendance can enter for a chance to win a trip for two to Washington, D.C. Gates will open at 4:30 for the pair of seven-inning contests. First pitch will be at 5:30 p.m., and the second game will start approximately 30 minutes after the initial one concludes.

The Hillcats are currently enjoying a five-game winning streak and will begin a four-game homestand against the Potomac Nationals Thursday at 6:30 p.m. Jared Robinson (1-1, 4.50) will start for Lynchburg. Gates open at 5:30 p.m., and fans can listen to the game live or on the TuneIn radio app, beginning at 6:20 p.m.
