Second Half Kicks Off with Karate and Camo Caps

The Hillcats will kick off the second half of the season with six games starting on Thursday, June 19th at 7:05pm and the promotional schedule will be back in full swing. Fans won't want to miss Tribute to "Karate Kid" Night, a camo cap giveaway and fireworks!

The homestand will begin on Thursday, June 19th at 7:05pm when the Potomac Nationals come to town for three games. That evening is our Theme Thursday-Tribute to "Karate Kid" Night. We're celebrating the 30th anniversary of the movie "Karate Kid" so wear your martial arts uniform for $5 admission! The gates will open at 6pm and it's a Thursday Cheers with a live pregame performance by local band Jenny & the B-Side Rockers and $2 drink specials, presented by Miller Lite, Yuengling & 97.9 FM The Planet. It's also Lions Night.

The series will continue on Friday, June 20th at 7:05pm. The gates open at 6pm so be sure to get here early because the first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive a free camo cap courtesy of The U.S. Army and WLNI! The series with Potomac will wrap up on Saturday, June 21st at 6:05pm with the gates opening at 5pm. Stick around postgame for a dazzling display with a fireworks show, presented by Mortgage Atlantic! That evening is also Babcock & Wilcox Night.

The Winston-Salem Dash will return to Lynchburg for three games starting on Sunday, June 22nd at 6:05pm. Don't miss our annual Bark in the Park presented by the Lynchburg Humane Society / K92. All leashed dogs are welcome and fans who donate a bag of Purina brand dog food will receive free admission! The gates open at 5pm and we'll have pregame autographs from 5-5:30pm on the concourse. It's also a Faith Sunday where church groups of 10 or more can purchase $4 advance tickets and all kids 14 and under can run the bases after the game presented by Uncle Bob's Self Storage. Members of Southpaw's Kids Club presented by Fox's Pizza Den will receive a free hot dog and drink and Virginia529 members will receive free admission to all Sunday home games with their membership card. Monday, June 23rd is a 7:05pm start time with the gates opening at 6pm. Every Monday home game is a Dollar Menu Monday presented by ABC 13. Enjoy hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, peanuts, candy & Domino's Pizza slices for just $1 each through the 7th inning! It's also the Virginia529 Good Report Card Night where students K-12 can bring their report card with all A's & B's to the Box Office for a free general admission ticket for that night's game! Students can also participate in a pregame parade on the field.

The Hillcats will wrap up the homestand and the series with the Winston-Salem on Tuesday, June 24th at 7:05pm. The gates will open at 6pm and it's a 'Cats with a Cause Night where the Alzheimer's Association will be raising awareness and funds for their cause. It's also a Two for Tuesday where General Admission tickets are buy one, get one free presented by ABC 13! Plus, members of Southpaw's Kids Club presented by Fox's Pizza Den can run the bases after the game.
