CORPUS CHRISTI - George Springer, Ben Orloff, Austin Wates and the rest of the Hooks return to Whataburger Field for an eight-game homestand Thursday. Corpus Christi, 7-3 over its last 10 while claiming sole possession of first in the Texas League South, entertains second-place Frisco for four.

Then I-37 rival San Antonio rolls on down. Here's a look at it all, date-by-date:

Thursday, May 9, Frisco RoughRiders @ Hooks, 7:05 p.m. (gates open 5:30)

•The first 2,500 fans receive a Keith Bodie Garden Gnome from CPL Retail Energy.
