Rosa made it 4-0 with a lead-off dinger in the third. It was his 12th homer of the year, and fifth vs. Corpus Christi (9-10, 43-46).
Winkelman (0-5) walked the first two batters in the fifth, ending his night.
Hurlbutt (1-1), who held the Hooks to two hits, has not allowed a run in his last two starts, spanning 11 1/3 innings. He walked two and fanned four Wednesday night.
