Career Highlights: 2016 - Tied for the most appearances on Corpus Christi's pitching staff. Excelled against left-handed hitters (.213 BAA) and had trouble against righties (.405 BAA). Provided length, completing 2 innings or more in 17 of his appearances. Began season with 2 consecutive scoreless outings (3 IP) and picked up a win on April 11 vs. Springfield. Converted both of his 2 save chances, going 3 innings (2 ER) on May 2 at Frisco and throwing 3 scoreless frames on June 26 at Frisco. Best month was June (2.63 ERA, 13 2/3 IP), which included back-to-back scoreless outings on June 11 vs. San Antonio (3 IP, 0 R) and June 15 at Frisco (2 1/3 IP, 0 R). Struggled after the All-Star break, allowing 27 ER in 15 IP (16.20 ERA) and held a .403 BAA. Faced 1 batter during postseason in Game 3 of TLDS and recorded a strikeout.

2015 - Made pro debut on June 26 with Quad Cities. Did not allow an earned run in 5 of 8 Midwest League appearances. Notched a victory July 17 at Wisconsin after striking out 4 over 2 1/3 scoreless innings. Blanked the opposition in final 2 River Bandits appearances, totaling 4 1/3 frames. Joined Lancaster on August 5, yielding a solo home run in 1 1/3 innings vs. Bakersfield. Did not allow a run in his remaining 6 California League assignments (17 IP), going 2-for-2 in save chances. Debuted with the Hooks on September 5 at San Antonio. Worked 2 scoreless innings for Corpus Christi during the postseason.

College Notes: Tabbed the 2015 Big 12 Pitcher of the Year, going 10-3 with a 1.31 ERA and 4 complete games for the Cowboys. Struck out 97 batters in 109 2/3 innings. Became the 3rd player in Big 12 history to win Pitcher of the Week honors on 4 occasions. Only pitched 14 2/3 frames as a junior after transferring from Eastern Oklahoma State College. Attended Bishop Kelley High School in Tulsa, the alma mater of Dallas Keuchel.

Career Highlights: 2017 - Eared a non-roster invite to big league camp.

2016 - Hit .291 with 15 doubles, 1 triple, 3 home runs, 35 RBIs and 16 stolen bases in 94 games between Lancaster, Corpus Christi and Fresno. Following a slow start, batted .319 with 4 doubles and 10 RBIs in final 18 assignments with the JetHawks. This run began April 23 at High Desert when he went 3-for-5 and drove in 3 runs. Promoted to the Texas League in late May, recording 2 hits in each of his first 3 games with the Hooks. Collected 6 RBIs in a 3-contest stretch June 9-11. Hit safely in 8 of 9 games July 1-13, raising his Texas League batting average from .273 to .299. His final 2 home runs came against San Antonio, going deep July 27 at Wolff Stadium and August 1 at Whataburger Field. Recorded 3 hits in 4 at-bats August 10, his penultimate game with Corpus Christi. Notched at least 1 hit in 14 of his 15 Pacific League starts. Totaled 6 hits in 8 at-bats September 2-3 at Sacramento. Scored 3 runs in 2nd game of the sequence. Batted .474 against left-handed pitching as a member of the Grizzlies. Career Highlights: 2016 - Ranked alongside Corpus Christi's leaders in walks (2nd), games (3rd), doubles (3rd), at-bats (5th) and home runs (T-5th). Averaged 6.59 plate appearances per strikeout, the 5th-lowest ratio in the Texas League. Owned the top fielding percentage (.994) among league first baseman. Committed only 5 errors in 862 total chances, and helped turned 66 doubles plays. Recorded the most putouts (815) by a TL first baseman. In the second half, batted .241 with 10 doubles, 2 triples. 6 homers and 26 RBIs. Tied the club record by coaxing 4 walks June 1 at Arkansas. Hit safely in 19 of 26 contests June 18-July 24, batting .305 with 10 doubles, 5 dingers and 20 RBIs. Plated 4 runs - 3 coming via a 6th-inning dinger - July 30 vs. Midland. Went 2-for-8 with 2 walks during the Texas League South Division Series.

2015 - Finished 5th in the Texas League with 73 RBIs. Collected hits in 7 consecutive games April 21-29, hitting .393 (11-for-28). Hit first home run May 27 at Northwest Arkansas in 149th at-bat and 41st game of the season. Went deep the next night as well. Posted a 4-hit night with a long ball and 4 RBIs June 15 at San Antonio in Game 2 of a twin bill. Named a Texas League Midseason All-Star after he hit .266 with 3 home runs and 33 RBIs in the first half. Hit a grand slam July 5 at Springfield. Homered in 3 straight games July 17-19, going 5-for-14 with 7 RBIs. Overall struggled in July, hit .203 with a .298 on-base percentage. A left-handed hitter, fared better against southpaws (.280) than right-handed pitching (.227). Walked in 12.7 percent of plate appearances. Started 101 games at first base and 23 as the designated hitter. Reached base safely in all 22 road games he played for the River Bandits, hitting .365 with a .461 OBP away from Modern Woodman Park. Posted multi-walk games 7 times in 44 contests. Hit .360 against left-handed pitching. Promoted to Lancaster May 27. Hit in 18 straight games from June 8-July 1, batting .387 with 17 RBIs and a .452 OBP. Also collected hits in 18 consecutive games at home June 2-July 6, hitting .437 with a .512 OBP. June 4 against Inland Empire went 5-for-5 with 3 runs, a home run and 4 RBIs. Had a monster June, hitting .396 with 6 HR and 25 RBIs. Drove in 5 runs July 17 against Visalia, going 4-for-5 with 3 runs scored and 2 home runs. Hit .397 with 10 of his 12 HR against right-handers. Batted .402 at home and .302 on the road. Promoted to Corpus Christi July 20. Hit safely in his first 4 games as a Hook July 21-24. Hit in 7 of 8 games August 12-23, going 11-for-26 to raise average from .230 to .287.

2013 - Made pro debut June 17 against Vermont. Cracked first home run June 22 at Lowell. Finished 2nd in the New York-Penn League in games and walks, T-3rd in hits and 10th in hitting. Led circuit first basemen in fielding percentage (.995). Tabbed NYPL Player of the Week for August 5-12 after he hit .583 (14-for-24) with 8 RBIs. Average climbed each month: .235 in June, .259 in July, .324 in August and went 5-for-9 in September.

Career Notes: Has started 218 games at first base for Corpus Christi, the most in club history. Also stands among Hooks career leaders in walks (126, 2nd), at-bats (1,056, 3rd), RBIs (129, 3rd), doubles (51, T-3rd) and games (266, 4th). Selected out of high school by Chicago (AL) in 40th round of the 2010 draft.

College Notes: Named a Louisville Slugger Pre-Season All-American in 2013 and went on to hit .308 with 3 HR and 48 RBIs as a junior at Vanderbilt. In 2012 finished second on the team in hitting (.328) and led the way with a .463 slugging percentage. Led Commodores in hitting (.353) as a freshman in 2011 and was tabbed a Freshman All-American and Second Team All-SEC.
