Partners Announced for 'Big League Weekend'

H-E-B Steps Up to the Plate as Title Sponsor of Inaugural Baseball Event

SAN ANTONIO - Ryan Sanders Baseball and the Texas Rangers baseball club kicked off their day-long San Antonio caravan at H-E-B McCreless Market to announce the details and corporate partner lineup for the inaugural Big League Weekend, taking place at the Alamodome on March 29-30. H-E-B will join the team as the title sponsor for this historic event.  

Partners for the H-E-B Big League Weekend include the City of San Antonio and the San Antonio Missions Baseball Club, along with other Big League Weekend sponsors such as Whataburger, Frost Bank, Methodist Children's Hospital, Ford, Valero, Clear Channel Communications and Time Warner.

"Being born in Texas and based in San Antonio we couldn't think of a better corporate partner to put their name on Big League Weekend than H-E-B," said Reid Ryan, CEO of Ryan Sanders Baseball. "Baseball is a game surrounded by history and family, and H-E-B has been taking care of Texas families for more than 100 years."

The H-E-B Big League Weekend features the Texas Rangers vs. the San Diego Padres for two exhibition games at the Alamodome on Friday, March 29, at 7:05 p.m. and Saturday, March 30, at 1:05 p.m.
