Hops Release 2013 Schedule

First game will be June 14th; first home game June 17th

Hillsboro, OR (November 19, 2012) - The Single-A baseball Hillsboro Hops announced their 2013 schedule today. The team will begin regular season play with back-to-back series vs their two biggest Oregon rivals. On Friday, June 14th the Hops launch the season with a three-game series against the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes in Salem. The Hops will make their home debut in their new state-of-the-art stadium in Hillsboro on Monday, June 17th when they play host to Eugene Emeralds for a three-game series.

Hillsboro Hops home games will start at 7:05pm, except for Sunday games, which will start at 1:35pm. The Hops will play one weekday day game on Friday, July 26th when the team hosts the Everett Aquasox in a game that will begin at 1:35pm to accommodate the Hillsboro Air Show later that day. The Hops, who will play 38 home games during their short season schedule that runs from June 14th until September 2nd, will have a special Independence Day celebration following their home game vs the Vancouver Canadians on Thursday, July 4th. The Hillsboro Hops are the Single-A baseball affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks of Major League Baseball. The team's season runs from mid-June to early September.
