BROOKLYN, NY (May 19, 2021) – The Brooklyn Cyclones pounded out 14 hits to knock off the Hudson Valley Renegades Wednesday night, 14-0, at Maimonides Park.

The Cyclones (5-8) were led by Brett Baty, who had four hits and four RBIs.

Brooklyn scored three times in the third inning, added five in the sixth, and threw six on the scoreboard in the seventh.

The Gades committed four errors in the loss.

On the plus side for the Renegades, Ezequiel Duran had three hits, including a triple, to raise his average to .327. Pablo Olivares had the other two hits for Hudson Valley (7-7).

Jhony Brito took the loss for the Renegades, allowing three earned runs on seven hits in 4.2 innings of work. Allan Winans got the win in relief for Brooklyn.

The two former NY-Penn League foes meet again tomorrow in their first series against each other in High-A East.
