WAPPINGERS FALLS, N.Y. (July 26, 2022) — Jasson Domínguez, Grant Richardson and Pat DeMarco tallied multi-hit games in the Hudson Valley Renegades 10-2 win over the Brooklyn Cyclones on Tuesday night at Dutchess Stadium.

Domínguez went 2-for-5 with a two-run triple and a single in his home debut, Richardson skied his first homer with Hudson Valley, and DeMarco collected three hits, improving to 7-for-9 at the plate in his last three games.

The Renegades sent 11 batters to the plate and scored six runs in the bottom of the first, promptly bouncing Cyclones starter Junior Santos (4-10) after 0.2 innings.

Anthony Seigler slammed an RBI double, T.J. Rumfield grounded an RBI single, Richardson blasted an opposite-field three-run homer, and Carlos Narvaez walked and scored on an error to open up a 6-0 lead.

Brooklyn plated a run in the top of the second off Hudson Valley starter Yoendrys Gomez. Jose Mena knocked an RBI single to cut the deficit to 6-1.

Gomez lasted 1.2 innings, allowing one run on two hits, walking one and striking out two.

Hudson Valley responded with four bottom of the third against Cam Opp to break it open. Richardson lined an RBI single, DeMarco laced an RBI double and Domínguez launched a towering two-run triple to center to create a 10-1 cushion.

Blane Abeyta (4-6) shined in relief, firing 4.1 scoreless innings, surrendering only one hit, striking out six and walking two. In the month of July, Abeyta is 4-0 with a 0.93 ERA.

Edgar Barclay earned his first save, tossing three innings to close it out, allowing one run on three hits, striking out four and walking one.

Hudson Valley continues its series with Brooklyn on Wednesday night at Dutchess Stadium. RHP Blas Castaño (3-7, 3.86) takes the ball for the Renegades, while the Cyclones tab RHP Luis Moreno (0-4, 3.41).
